Criterion and Codemasters join forces to bring new Need for Speed

Some very exciting news for racing fans!

Electronic Arts’ Criterion team is joining forces with the Codemasters team based in Cheshire to work on the future instalments of the beloved Need for Speed franchise! 

Criterion have been part of the development of many previous Need for Speed games, such as Need for Speed: Heat and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastared, and Codemasters are one of the most renowned racing game developer studios in the UK (and beyond!). 

Sounds like a match made in heaven… or on the racing track! We’re thrilled to be able to welcome Codies back to Guildford, even if it’s in spirit rather than in person, and can’t wait to see what the two teams create together!
