This year Gamescom returned for the first time since 2019. Set in Cologne, Germany, it's one of the biggest gaming conventions attracting thousands of people internationally every year – with over 265,000 visitors from all over the world joining the event this year alone!
We're proud to call Guildford the 'Hollywood of Games’, with Gamescom featuring many Guildford Games such as Fable Anniversary, LittleBigPlanet, Dreams, Two Point Hospital, and Need for Speed: Heat in previous years.
This year once again local studios were there to show off their incredible games and what Guildford has to offer.
Guildford Games spotted at Gamescom this year included The Devil in Me, Two Point Campus, and Tin Hearts – played and enjoyed by hundreds of players at the con!
The Devil in Me, a new game in The Dark Pictures Anthology horror series by Supermassive Games was part of the showstopping Bandai Namco booth.
The talented team behind Until Dawn, House of Ashes and their latest release in June, The Quarry (just to name a few!) yet again have another thrilling release coming out this November.
The Devil in Me is the fourth game in the Dark Pictures anthology which will take us to the modern version of H.H. Holmes’ Murder Castle.
If you don’t already, make sure to follow Supermassive Games over on Twitter for all the latest news and updates of the Dark Pictures Season One Finale!
The creators behind one of the best hospital management games Two Point Hospital (hey, at least that's what we think!), released their game Two Point Campus this month on PC and consoles.
The Two Point Campus crew treated the future cohort of Chefs, Knights and Spies to an exclusive taster of the university experience with game sessions, lots of swag, and exciting live streams straight from their Gamescom booth!
Check out Two Point Campus right here!
Tin Hearts, a magical narrative-driven puzzler by Rogue Sun where you guide a troop of tiny tin soldiers was at Gamescom on the Indie Arena Booth. Hundreds of people got the chance to play the game and see the magic for themselves – before its release, and we are jealous!
Tin Hearts was also nominated and won the award for "Most Wanted Nintendo Switch Game" at Gamescom! We're super proud of the team at Rogue Sun and can’t wait for the release of Tin Hearts.
Make sure you follow them on Twitter for updates and let those tiny tin soldiers march into your hearts - wishlist the game over on Steam!
