Visit the Guildford Museum this summer to enjoy a showcase of all games made in Guildford. Be quick - it's only around until September!
We’re thrilled to see Guildford's game history being showcased at the Guildford Museum! The exhibition aims to educate the local community about Guildford's role in the games industry and how this leafy town has shaped today's industry.
At the Museum you'll find a collection of over 70 games spread across all of Guildford's history from Populous to Need for Speed: Heat, all kindly donated by local devs and studios.
You will also find a console station where you can play Guildford-made games, as well as displays and videos explaining the history of the area along with personal insights from some of the top games studios in Guildford.
You can visit The Guildford Museum Wednesday to Saturday 12 pm – 4.30 pm and make sure you check out the Guildford Council's blog for extra info. But be quick - the exhibition is only around until September 24th!
We hope you enjoy exploring the history of the Guildford games industry as much as we did!
