Just in! The MCV/Develop Awards have announced their 2024 finalists and we’re thrilled to see over a dozen nominations for Guildford devs and studios!
The talented team over at nDreams knocked it out of the park with their latest title Synapse which has rightfully received 3 nominations! The PSVR2 game is a finalist for Visual Innovation of the Year, Audio Innovation of the Year, and Gameplay Innovation of the Year!
The nDreams team have also been nominated for Major Studio of the Year!
Another contender for Major Studio of the Year is Larian Studios, creators of the mind-blowing RPG Baldur’s Gate 3.
The recent BAFTA Game of the Year winner is also a finalist across three categories – Audio Innovation of the Year, Narrative Innovation of the Year, and Gameplay Innovation of the Year!
Guildford Studio Rogue Sun’s debut title Tin Hearts has marched right into the jury’s hearts and has received two nominations for Narrative Innovation of the Year and Gameplay Innovation of the Year!
But that’s not all! Guildford studios have been spotted in other categories, too! Supermassive Games’ Switchback VR has been nominated for Audio Innovation of the Year, No Man’s Sky continuous dev support and expansions have earned the team at Hello Games a nomination for Ongoing Innovation of the Year, and Guildford.Games Festival organisers Liquid Crimson are a finalist for Creative Partner of the Year!
